The Refund!!!
The Best Part

Most people don’t realize, that if they have their home REMOVED from the Flood Zone, they are eligible for a full refund of the current policy year’s premium and the previous year if they act in time! Yes, this is no joke, you actually make money when you stop paying for flood insurance.

If you were required to purchase flood insurance by your lending institution as a condition of a loan and later was removed from the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) by a letter of Map Amendment (LOMA), you may request a refund. Property owners whose structure have been removed from a SFHA, and are now located in a Zone X may be eligible for a full refund of the current policy year’s premium and the previous years premium if you are REMOVED within 60 days of your renewal, provided that no claim is pending or has been paid on the policy during the same policy year.

To initiate processing of the refund, the property owner should:

1) Provide a copy of the LOMA to the lending institution.

2) Request a letter from the lending institution waiving the requirements flood insurance.

3) Provide this letter to the insurance agent or broker who sold you the policy to initiate your REFUND. It usually takes about 2 weeks to get your money back. If you have any problems don't worry we will help you.
